Being raised in the Midwest, one of the most important things my parents taught my brother, sister and me was to be honest and live our lives in an ethical manner. I remember a number of times being reminded, “you need to be able to look yourself in the mirror every day of your life. Do your very best and live your life with purpose and integrity!” Those words have served me well.

"Do your very best and live your life with purpose and integrity." Those words have served me well.

My parents also cautioned that sales is a highly competitive field. Their advice was to sell something you believe in and sell the best product available. With those lessons and my real estate license I set out to establish myself with a brokerage, if I was to go with the best that only meant the professionals with Advantage Real Estate. I have been thankful since my first day.

To date, the agents of Advantage Real Estate have 233 accumulative years of real estate experience with 204 years in Lincoln County. We are proud of what we do!

I have always had an interest in real estate but for several reasons never pursued it. Then while managing a fishing lodge in Alaska, a group of real estate agents from California stayed and fished. Surprisingly talk swayed away from fishing long enough for the guys to strike my interest in real estate again. After returning to Oregon from the Alaska trip the California agents continued to call and encouraged me to get involved in the community college real estate class. The result was my real estate license in 1991.

Something I’m very thankful for is that I had the opportunity to do the detailed study classes available through the Oregon Coast Community College. I feel strongly that the intense, broad spectrum real estate courses have benefited me throughout my career.
